This is the last session before the Christmas break. Plenty of time to read from last session's homework and to get some ideas from this workshop for writing a story that has all the elements - problem, conflict, resolution and a good What If for the ending!!

Read Your Story at St Andrew's Night Ceilidh

Friday, 26th November at Melrose Parish Church Hall is the venue for the ceilidh house, starting at 7.45pm.

Anyone present is invited to contribute to the evening's entertainment if they wish, with music, story or song in any language - English, Scots, Gaelic are the most common.

There will definitely be Gaelic song contributions from Turas and members of the recent Gaelic Singing for Fun group, led by Mary Low, but the rest of the entertainment is up to you, so please polish up your party piece!

A soup and pudding supper will be provided, but please bring your own booze. 


Admission (inclusive of supper) is £5 for members, £6 for non-members.


Please note this is a ceilidh in the Highland tradition - there's no dancing !
