Carols
for Christmas
Every Christmas we have a Carol Service in the
Borders General Hospital for patients, their families and friends and
staff. We usually have carols sung by a
local choir interspersed with traditional readings. This year we would like to be a little more
innovative and use readings written by local poets and authors. The readings can be poetry or prose, have a religious
or non-religious Christmas theme and be about 250 words in length.
Items for consideration should be submitted
to Revd Anna Garvie, Chaplaincy Centre, Borders General Hospital, Melrose, TD6
9BS or by email anna.garvie@borders.scot.nhs.uk
Deadline for submissions: 1st
November 2014.
