SESSION 10: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

This workshop deals with the process of rewriting and how best to fine our writing. Rewriting is an essential part of creative writing.

Readings from the group including Tim Nevil's short story winner, A Likelihood of Snow.

PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

 

 

The most important secret to creative writing is rewriting. This session deals with the methods writers use to polish and edit their stories.

 

 

Also, four readers will read out their stories and the group will give some positive feedback.

Session 10: Putting it all together

This session we will learn how to rewrite, cut out words, repetition, and make every word count.

The workshop will be held in our usual place on Tuesday afternoon 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the Abbey Row Community Centre, Kelso. Downstairs in the coffee room and we will have tea, coffee and biscuits too.

Look forward to meeting up again. We have two more sessions and then we will break for the summer to re-group in September. Same time, same place.
