We will be thinking about the ways to begin stories. Helpful exercise. Discussions. Coffee and Tea with biscuits. £2 to cover the cost of hiring the room. All welcome.

Christmas poetry and prose competition

Carols for Christmas

 

 Every Christmas we have a Carol Service in the Borders General Hospital for patients, their families and friends and staff.   We usually have carols sung by a local choir interspersed with traditional readings.   This year we would like to be a little more innovative and use readings written by local poets and authors.   The readings can be poetry or prose, have a religious or non-religious Christmas theme and be about 250 words in length.
